NEW SEASON – NEW CHAPTER – TURN THE PAGE!
Ezekiel 3:22- Arise, go out into the plain, and there I will speak to you.
Yes, we know these phrases are well used at this time, but they certainly describe how we feel right now as Geoff and Jane – Living Stones Ministries!
For those of you who have been praying for us in recent months, we thank you so much. After many months of prayerfully seeking God’s wisdom and guidance for LSM, we realised that we needed to make a move.
The scripture you see at the start of our message is the very one that the Lord spoke to us in an extraordinary way back in 1983 and prompted our call into full time ministry.
Another scripture from those early days, which has been a constant companion to us over the years, is Hebrews 13:8- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.
For the last three years, since moving from Princes Risborough to Warrington, we have been enjoying fellowship with Kings Church Warrington where we were made very welcome. Recently, as we sensed a new season for LSM, and began to pray over prophetic words we were receiving, we felt it more appropriate to align ourselves with the Elim church in St Helens, Christian Life Centre, where we have now become members. We look forward to continuing the many friendships we made at King’s Warrington.
To give some context here, it was some 30 years ago, as a result of our relationship with CLC, that we came into the Elim family, and we brought our church plant in Skelmersdale into Elim also. So, in a way, we have returned to our roots – and feel very blessed to have CLC – an apostolic church – as our home base, from which to reach out as Living Stones Ministries.
Back on the road!
We have, of course, all been affected by Covid, and especially those with an itinerant ministry, like ourselves. However, we have not been idle!
Our recent itinerary has included ministry at our Love Wales Revival Ministry School, preaching at Elim Treorchy and AoG churches in Maesteg and Kenfig Hill. We also ministered at Elim Rehoboth Church, Upper Norwood, London twice over the last 5 months. However, we don’t plan to drive as many miles as pre-covid, but we will prayerfully consider and respond to invitations to minister wherever! In fact, we have several dates in the diary at various places in the country over the next few weeks.
We have also been able to build up our relationships and connect with pastors and leaders here in the north west of England – in fact this week we are meeting with a group of leaders in north Wales to pray for the region.
Our specific focus for Love Wales is developing relationships and trust with church leaders in north Wales area with a desire to serve them in reaching out with the gospel of Jesus Christ – Saviour, Healer, Baptiser and Coming King!
Geoff has continued with on-line Bible teaching to several groups which has been very rewarding even if technically challenging at times!
